Best tarte flambée in Gengenbach. Wonderful ambience
Great hosts .. loving service even under corona conditions..👍
Delicious tarte flambée with great beer. A very nice evening.
Very cozy, quaint restaurant. The tarte flambée were perfect and the host was very nice. And to all Cologne residents who are homesick, there is Kölsch on tap
Very nice old tavern. Friendly service, delicious food. The fried potatoes in particular were sensational. Also ok in terms of price. We'll be back as soon as we're back in Gengenbach.
Great ! Delicious dish. I loved the pork. And the atmosphere is really quaint and traditional.
Careful service ... drinks well maintained ... food quickly and quality top.
Tasty and cheap food! Good gluten-free options. Recommend the pork knuckles - the mini ones are yum but the big is best. Nice and efficient staff - lucky for us our waiter spoke English as unfortunately we can't speak German. Open outdoor terrace for seating. Decent beer and wine selection.
Fantastic restaurant. Very good pork Haxe and beer. Very nice place and very friendly staff.
Anyone who has found Zum Turm need look no further! Here you will find the best tarte flambée in the area with a large selection of savory and sweet variants (Munster cheese with pear - my highlight). It is also worth stopping by for a beer, because here you will also be delighted with a rich selection! You will be catered for here in a relaxed atmosphere and look forward to the next time. Simply great!
Cosy and friendly place. The beer is great here. Try the pork knuckle for the food.
Wilheim seal of approval!
Absolutely the most authentic German experience. Food was excellent, the wine was amazing.
Super tasty food and beer. Cosy for a evening chill.
A very picturesque, unique place. They have 50 kinds of beers
Excellent treatment. The boss tries to speak Spanish. Letter in our language. Cheap prices. The food very good, and the beer a scandal. You can enter with a dog, we have a doberman. I recommend it one hundred percent.
The place is well decorated and nice. Attentive staff, speaks a little Spanish, English, French ... Whatever it takes. The knuckle of 10, delicious (price 14.5 €) The good sausages (price 7.90 €). At two o'clock in the afternoon of five occupied tables, five of them by Spaniards.
Wonderful to try German food. The letter is also in Spanish. Good price and quality Highly recommended
Completely recommended. For the location, price, quality and taste of the food, and for the warmth of the deal. In addition, they offer the letter in English and Spanish. A 10!
Delicious the food friendly service made everything very well
The garlic steak is an absolute hammer and then seven kinds of beer on tap. A must with every Gengenbach visit.
This is a great german pub-restaurant with nice style, cozy atmosphere and good service. They serve many variations of flammkuchen and generally food of good quality. They also have a satisfying variety of beers.
Get the knuckle
This is definitely more of an air of a tavern than a restaurant. We would receive very friendly. The menu includes everything that includes a reasonable Badische kitchen just like that. The food was honest and really tasty. The fried potatoes were exceptionally delicious. The service was fast and friendly and the prices moderate. Recommended, we'll be back 👌🏻
Cozy restaurant. Our rump steaks were delicious and reasonably priced. The portions were very large, so bring the most hungry 😜 friendly service and good wine.
Bad service
Decent, great atmosphere and decor
The food was absolutely fantastic. Very reasonable prices. I'd recommend the knuckle of pork, which was amazing. The flammkuchens were quite tasty, the sweet ones were also good if you are still hungry.
Really good food, beer, and wine and great value. Definitely the biggest and the best tasting shweinshaxe I've ever had (and I've had a bunch of them but only a few in Germany.) The flammkuchen was really good too. Friendly staff and decent service.
Very good place and food
Typical site in the area. Warm decoration. Dogs are accepted. Hearty home cooked food of very good quality. Super knuckle. It does not have five stars because they took a long time to serve us and that there were not many people. Very nice waitress. Has a letter in Spanish.
Very nice family-run restaurant, excellent beer and we tried the "schiacciata" (I don't remember the exact name I think tarta flame, like thin and crispy pizza) with cheese, chanterelles (mushrooms) and really good Speck. Husband and wife don't stop a minute between service and food and drink preparation. In crowded moments I think there is a longer wait than ours (at that moment the upstairs was empty and only the room in the counter was full)
I only had a beer but the atmosphere was great, quiet when I was and the food looking was awesome. Very good and friendly service.
Pretty nice place and warm. I recommend to drink beer and enjoy the time with friends. The tartle flame is very nice but I waited for a long time .. took me tired.
Great atmosphere, food and drink...Loved it..
Our food was excellent, home made German cuisine. And so is the beer. The price is very reasonable. The place is authentic, very pretty, and the atmosphere is very nice.
The restaurant is in a purely German style . Family atmosphere, very cozy and comfortable . Food! This is a private conversation! Inexpensive for a very very tasty .
